Hazelnut 50 KatSilk Saran Doll Hair

I just started re-rooting my Vintage Barbies (& friends) and I think that if you are going to start to do as I have, then this color ,along w/ SEVERAL MORE, are a must-have. Reason I say this, is because the four colors I'm going to mention are the "base" colors, and the ones most used by Mattel (back in the olden days) : ~~Ash Brown, Ash Blonde,Brunette3, and Brown1..... When you receive the bundle, you will find that there is plenty of KATSILK to experiment with, and re-root several doll heads. Then once you get better at it, you can then start playing around w/ the other colors offered at this Site.

This shade of brown is a very pretty medium brown. Not too light and not too dark of a shade.

I love the color. I had someone else do the reroot for me and she loved the hair to work with and the color.

The color is almost true to pic. What's not shown accurately is the subtle lemon/lime tones that show in direct sunlight. It's hard to explain but its a beautiful tone that highlights green or hazel eyes the best. Also in dark light it doesn't look black but remains brown which is a plus! I will be buying again

IT'S SO AMAZING I'M ADDICTED!! This hair is so beautiful & realistic looking. It's so soft , super shiny and very easy to use. It's a deep brown with cooper/gold highlights. Because this hair is so amazing I don't think I will try any other kind..it would be very tough to beat the look & feel of this Katsilk Saran hair! I wish there was a way to post actual pictures of the hair in the reviews. I found that helpful when I was searching color choices. I contacted customer service and Tony was very helpful & quick to respond answering my questions. Thanks Tony! Hazelnut 50 is the perfect color for the LOL doll I'm transforming into Bonnie from Toy Story 4 :) Also I love the website & the explanation of the different hair on the website it was great help for me. Although I should have taken time to read over the rerooting diy! I was so excited I opened a pack right away & kinda ended up with a little tangled mess. My only suggestion would be it would be great to have a paper or card with your hair purchase explaining how to prepare your hair for rerooting. I didn't realize it was one continuous bundle. But otherwise I could not ask for anything more. My order came super fast..even faster than the tracking stated..lol. It was packaged very nice & neat with every thing labeled. fantastic color with plenty of depth. It is a perfect brown and slightly on the darker side.

I use this shade constantly for commissions. It is a very warm brunette shade that while technically is not a vintage color actually looks quitenice on Vintage/ Mod dolls.
